Interactive IFS Group Leader Training
The Interactive Group Model
If you are interested in learning how to lead interactive IFS groups, we provide extensive professional training in this method.
Trainings include an experiential component where the training group also functions as an interactive group, so you have the experience of being in such a group, led by Jay Earley, along with the teaching.

Prerequisites:
1. An experiential knowledge of IFS. If you don’t have that, we recommend that you take our Basic and Exiles IFS Courses, taught by Bonnie Weiss, LCSW.
2.Being a helping professional. Interactive IFS Groups can be led as either therapy groups or personal growth groups, so you don’t have to be a therapist to take our trainings. However, it's required to already be working in a helping-oriented profession.
Level 1 Trainings
1. Learn the fundamentals of the Interactive Group Model
2. Receive practical training in group leadership with feedback from Jay
3. Experience being a member of an Interactive IFS Group
Trainings are held twice per year (spring and autumn)
The next Level 1 training begins September 2026.

An advanced peer-led group for those who have completed the Level 1 Group Leader Training. You take turns leading segments of a group and get feedback afterwards.

The Apprenticeship Program is a unique opportunity for professionals to grow their leadership skills through direct mentorship from Jay Earely.
You co-lead an Interactive IFS Group with Jay for several months, and then you lead on your own with Supervision.
The Level 1 Training is a prerequisite to being an Apprentice
Supervision
Dr. Jay Earley offers 1:1 supervision for group leaders who want individualized feedback and support with their groups and development as leaders.
Supervision draws on Jay’s decades of experience and includes access to his customized Intervention Tracker.
