Interactive Group Leader Training
The Interactive Group Model
If you are interested in learning how to lead interactive IFS groups, we provide extensive professional training in this method. Interactive IFS Groups can be led as either therapy groups or personal growth groups, so you don’t have to be a therapist to take our trainings.
Trainings include an experiential component where the training group also functions as an interactive group, so you have the experience of being in such a group, led by Jay Earley, along with the teaching.

Prerequisite. An experiential knowledge of IFS is a prerequisite for the trainings. If you don’t have that, we recommend that you take our Basic and Exiles IFS Courses, taught by Bonnie Weiss, LCSW.
Level 1 Trainings
1. Learn the fundamentals of the Interactive Group Model
2. Receive practical training in group leadership with feedback from Jay
3. Experience being a member of an Interactive IFS Group
The next Level 1 training begins September 2025.

Apprenticeships
The Apprenticeship Program is a unique opportunity for professionals to grow their leadership skills through direct mentorship from Jay Earely.
You co-lead an Interactive IFS Group with Jay for several months, and then you lead on your own with Supervision.
The Level 1 Training is a prerequisite to being an Apprentice
