About Our Group Internships

The internship program offers a rare opportunity to work directly with Jay Earley.

Each internship has its own focus, but all share the spirit of collaboration, inquiry, and co-creation.

Internships are volunteer positions, and the schedule/frequency of meetings will be determined collaboratively. See the currently available internships below:

Group Therapy Literature Internship

This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the evolving field of group therapy, gain insight into the development of a new relational model, and contribute to shaping something innovative and healing.

Our focus will be on how existing ideas—especially from the world of interpersonal group therapy—relate to the model Jay is developing for Interactive IFS Groups.

As an intern, you’ll read articles, books, and websites and take part in thoughtful discussions with Jay and other interns.

Jay’s Latest Innovations Internship

This is an opportunity to help develop innovations for the Interactive Group model alongside a broader framework of Transformational Psychology that Jay is developing.

Jay will share his latest thinking and invite your reflections, feedback, and creative contributions. Together, you and a small group of fellow interns will explore how these ideas can be refined, expanded, and/or connected with other theories.

If you’re a theoretical thinker yourself, you’re welcome to bring your own ideas into the conversation, in the spirit of mutual inspiration and discovery.
